To operate on 40M, the 20M coil must be removed from the top of the antenna and the 40M coil screwed into its place. If you prefer to have 40M and 20M capability at the same time, choose the Comet UHV-6 antenna.
Mobile Mounting:  The HMC-6S was designed to be lip mounted using the CP-5M or the HD-5M (coax included).  If you have the coax cable assy already, use the RS-730 or RS-840 brackets.

User defined set-up:  Without any of the HF coils attached, the UHV-6 is a small 6M/2M/70cm triband antenna.  YOU choose which coils to attach, in any combination.

It was originally designed to hold three HF coils at a time.  You can add more if you are parked.  While mobile a guy line is recommended if more than three coils are attached.

Due to the weight, the 80M coil should be attached by itself.
