Answering the call for a dual-earphone, versatile Boomset for portable use, Heil Sound is pleased to present the Traveler Dual Side, a unique, high-performance headset that's compatible with over 100 different radios. The Traveler Dual Side provides unmatched versatility for a wide variety of Amateur Radio applications.

The Traveler Dual Side features a wide-range electret condenser element that provides outstanding clarity, and extensive RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) suppression ensures reliable operation in portable applications where grounding is non-existent. And the oversized speakers utilized in the Traveler's earpieces yield excellent audio recovery on receive. An in-line 3-way pendant switch in the Traveler cable provides PTT (Push To Talk) control as well as frequency Up/Down control capability (Up/Down control not functional on some hand-held FM rigs).

The Traveler's unique interface-cable system consists of an (optional) 3-foot patch cable consistent with the transceiver to be used. Interface cables are also available for interfacing to cellular telephones and personal computers (PTT and frequency control not operational). All adapter cables are sold separately, and you can use one Traveler headset on widely-different rigs just by changing adapter cables.

The ear-pads are a unique cotton/foam design that ensures both comfort and durability. The headband is padded, as well, and the entire Traveler assembly is so light that it may be worn for many hours in complete comfort.
